Paramount released the first trailer to the Top Gun sequel entitled Top Gun: Maverick and I got chills watching. Now nothing much has been revealed as of yet but for a critic who grew up in the ’80s watching the original film with his best friend Chad, this a movie that can’t get here fast enough. Judging by the trailer, you get the sense the perhaps Goose’s son is now at Top Gun (I mean Glen Powell does look like Anthony Edwards from 1985). I will say the action looks fantastic, and it left me wanting answers to a ton of questions. Who is Jennifer Connely’s character? Miles Teller is in the cast and could pass as Maverick’s son .. is he? 2020 can not get here fast enough!
