Review: ‘Snowpiercer’ Episode 4

Snowpiercer took a turn for the better as the chase began to capture the killer on board. There were undoubtedly some twists that weren’t expected. What they did well in this episode is they were able to transition the show from mystery to more of a showdown Layton (Daveed Diggs) and Melanie (Jennifer Connelly). How will that impact the rest of the season? For now, let’s just focus on my top 5 takeaways from Sunday night’s episode of Snowpiercer.

5. The chase –

Snowpiercer

I have to hand it to the production crew, they’ve certainly made ample use of their space and created this larger than life world. The chase sequence during the second half of Snowpiercer was something else.

4. The reason why he’s running –

Snowpiercer

The killer was running from security forces because after finding more dead bodies; they realized he was slipping and pieced it together.

3. Speaking of slipping –

Snowpiercer

Melanie had it all together and got too lax, which allowed Layton to piece together who she was. This lead to a big swerve during Sunday’s Snowpiercer.

2. Great sequence –

Snowpiercer

Some of the best acting this season was when Layton finally cracked this case wide open.

1. Revolution –

Daveed Diggs

The revolution begins when this guy comes in harm’s way. Snowpiercer just got real interesting.
