The first teaser for Star Trek: Picard (which is set to debut on CBS All Access later this year) was released and sent Trekies into a frenzy. Check it out –
The teaser begins by saying, “Fifteen years ago, today, you led us out of the darkness. You commanded the greatest rescue armada in history,” says an unknown woman in a voiceover. “Then, the unimaginable.” It’s not entirely clear what the lady voice over is referring to. Then she continues by asking, “Tell us: why did you leave Starfleet, Admiral?”
There’s no telling which direction the series is headed, but it does appear to have hooked a ton of loyal Star Trek fans. Star Trek: Picard will debut later this fall.
